I miss the ocean, I miss the beach, the sound of the waves slapping against the shore. I long to sit and watch the seagulls dive for their dinner (or breakfast) and calling out to their mates or competitors. Do you miss these things also? I can just about be there and hear these sounds when I look at this painting because those are the things I was thinking about when I painted it in 2021 while we were all locked down.
